Feast of Trumpets: The Feast of the Open Book and Revival of the Word and Spirit:
“When the Word and the Spirit come together, there will be the biggest movement of the Holy Spirit that the nation, and indeed the world, has ever seen. It will mark the beginning of a revival that will eclipse anything that has been witnessed within these shores, even the Wesleyan and the Welsh revivals of former years”. Smith Wigglesworth 1947.
The Coming Move of God
Smith Wigglesworth prophesied of and end-time revival that would combine the word and spirit and it would be the greatest move we have ever seen. The emphasis would be on the revelation of the Word and the moving of the Spirit through signs, wonders and miracles. The heart of God is that we would unlock the power of His word through intimacy that will manifest His nature by not separating the studying and preaching of His word from the demonstration and power of His Spirit. Paul the Apostle declares that He declared the mystery and testimony of Messiah not with man’s wisdom but through the hidden wisdom of God (I Corinthians 2).
This generation will be mantled with the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation and the keys of knowledge to unlock scripture that will manifest the nature of Yeshua on the earth like never before. This Feast of Trumpets and season of High Holy Days I believe is unlocking revelatory truth we need to begin to usher in as William Branham declared it “The Bride’s Revival”.
The Water Gate and the Feast of the Open Book
1And all the people gathered as one man at the square which was in front of the Water Gate, and they asked Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses which the LORD had given to Israel.
2Then Ezra the priest brought the law before the assembly of men, women and all who could listen with understanding, on the first day of the seventh month.
In Nehemiah 8:1-2 it was on the Feast of Trumpets that Ezra the priest opened the scriptures and read the word of God to those who left Babylon and were preparing to rebuild God’s dwelling place. As Ezra opened the scroll and read the book, the people heard and understood the word of God. It was at the Water Gate on Feast of Trumpets that the scroll was open! Water is symbolic of the Spirit while gates are places of access.
Trumpets are sounding, eye gates and ear gates are about to open and the King of Glory is coming into us so He can manifest out of us! The Spirit and the Word will bring revival, refreshing, renewal and cleansing to prepare our hearts to not just speak truth but manifest it.
The Ezra Company: Unlocking the Mystery of the Counsel of His Will
Ezra who was a scribe and priest is picture of what’s coming on the scene. Scribes had to be scholars in the word of God as they had the great responsibility to handwrite the word onto scrolls. According to the Jewish commentaries, these scholars were referred to as “sofer stam”, which is an acronym for sefer torah (Torah scroll) tefillin (phylacteries) and mezuzah. Mezuzahs were scriptures in a black box and place above the doorpost fulfilling the command of Deuteronomy 6:9 to inscribe His word upon the doorpost. Phylacteries were boxes that were bond around the hand and above the forehead to fulfill the command of Deuteronomy 11:18 to bind the word of God on their eyes and on their hand. We see this in scripture and when understood there is a powerful truth in regards to scribes:
18 You shall therefore impress these words of mine on your heart and on your soul; and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontals on your forehead.
The scribes were called sofer stam because it was another way of saying they were a Torah scroll themselves! Scribes are coming who are not just scholars of the word, but they are a living breath Torah scroll being revealed.
13 For it is not merely the hearers of Torah whom God considers righteous; rather, it is the doers of what Torah says who will be made righteous in God’s sight. 14 For whenever Gentiles, who have no Torah, do naturally what the Torah requires, then these, even though they don’t have Torah, for themselves are Torah (Complete Jewish Bible)!
A clarion call is being released and the beginning of the revival of the Word and Spirit will be released through scribes who have such intimacy with God, they will possess the ability to create synergy through the Word and the Spirit. Just as Paul declares all scripture is God Breathed, Ezra’s are coming with the ability to unlock God’s breathe in the scriptures and release His life into those who hear and understand it (II Timothy 3:16). It will be God breathed words and when they speak, their mouth will be like the pen of a ready writer inscribing upon the hearts of the people. This will create strongholds of righteousness and joy that produces supernatural strength that will not be hindered! The joy of the Lord is our strength (stronghold) (Nehemiah 8:10).
The Bride is a Scroll Being Unveiled and Manifesting the Bridegroom
1 I saw another strong angel coming down out of heaven, clothed with a cloud; and the rainbow was upon his head, and his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire; 2and he had in his hand a little book which was open. He placed his right foot on the sea and his left on the land; 3and he cried out with a loud voice, as when a lion roars; and when he had cried out, the seven peals of thunder uttered their voices.
In Revelation 5 no one was worthy to open the scroll but Lion from the Tribe of Judah and the Lamb. In Revelation 10 this angel has a scroll open in his hand, wrapped in a cloud just as God would come down in a cloud and His face is like the sun just as Yeshua’s did on the Mount of Transfiguration in Matthew 17. The appearance of the rainbow is connected to the glory of God around the throne in Revelation 4 and Ezekiel 1. I believe the description of this strong angel with the scroll open in his hand is the Messiah Himself. The Lord is about to about reveal Himself in a Bride that will manifest the very nature of Messiah. Before He physically comes back, He will tabernacle in a Bride who has made herself ready (Revelation 19).
Ezra and the Bride
The name Ezra comes from the word “ezer” which the same root to “help meet” describing the Adam’s bride in Genesis 2! When we look at the meaning of the Hebrew for the description of the Adam’s wife it means she is his counterpart who could explain, declare and manifest the glory hidden in her husband! Ezra’s are coming who will explain, declare and manifest the glory hidden in the Bridegroom Yeshua! An Ezra company is coming to reveal the hidden revelation of Yeshua through intimacy and bring the body to maturity.
Unlocking the Scroll
The scroll in the strong angel’s hand is the unveiling of the Bride and the seven thunders will reveal the mystery of the bride’s revival. The Lion is about to roar and the authority to take dominion over the beast that comes out of the sea the beast that come out of the earth is about to unfold (Revelations 13). May we have ears to hear when the Spirit and Bride says come!
